If you’re like me, you have created several titles in your eHow articles queue and simply haven’t written them. eHow isn’t cool with that and they’re giving you until November 26th to write them or release them. Imagine- someone else profiting from your article idea. I have a LOT- like over 40. I’ve done a few this morning and was surprised to see ANOTHER new feature “Your article is under review.” It was published within 10 minutes, but still…. Change is a good thing. The only people who will be upset about this are people who aren’t making money and eHow probably doesn’t want them around anyway, wasting server space.
Anyway- what I’ve done is saved all my queue’d article titles into a spreadsheet and divided it by the days betwen now & Nov 26th, then I ranked them according to the ones I predict will earn a lot, the ones I predict will be easy writes and assigned each to a schedule so that I am sure to write the high-earning titles and the easy/no research titles.
I’m also writing them to DS standards, since I am sure that’s where eHow is headed. Crappy content can build a site but it can’t sustain it. The mediocre writers have served their purpose and now eHow is looking for quality for the long run.
Do you have a plan for tackling your eHow queue? Better yet, do you have more than 40 titles in your queue, because I’d love to meet someone who is worse than me (not that it’s a bad thing…)
